On June 2 Bishop Javier Echevarría, Opus Dei’s Prelate, conferred priestly ordination on ten of the Prelature’s deacons in a ceremony that took place in the basilica of St. Eugene in Rome.

The new priests are Bernhard Augustin, Austria; Jacques Leirens, Belgium; Juan José Bello, Ignacio Belzunce, José Martínez, Juan Romero and Mauricio Bravo, Spain; Eduardo Castillo and Vicente Saucedo, Mexico; and Edward Emukpoeruo, Nigeria.
