On the morning of December 25, the Prelate of Opus Dei inaugurated the Holy Year in the Prelatic Church of Our Lady of Peace in Rome. During the Eucharist, Bishop Echevarria invited the faithful present to give thanks “to Jesus who did not disdain to become one of us, so that we might become consortes divinæ naturæ, sharers in his divine nature,” and to pray “that God’s goodness and peace be extended throughout the whole world and that He be born and live for all men.”
