Jonandai Conference Center is situated in Oita Province on the island of Kyushu, the southernmost of Japan’s four major islands. This was the site of a conference on communication in the family, especially between parents and children. The principal speaker was Dr. Kazuko Nakajima, a specialist in education and family matters. The gathering also considered aspects of communication in ordinary life. Some 30 people took part in this event, which coincided with the 20th anniversary of the beginning of Opus Dei’s apostolic work in the province of Oita.
